Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your photo: the selfie (or pet photo) you upload, which we turn into your emoji character. A photo of a face is personal data, and we treat it that way.
• Your generated emojis: the images we create from your photo.
• Your email address: from your Stripe receipt when you buy, when you ask us to email you your packs, or when you ask us to email you a preview. We use it to send your pack, pack links and, if you asked, your preview plus one reminder, and to answer support requests. We don't send marketing email.
• Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How long we keep it

• Your original photo is deleted automatically 24 hours after upload if you don't buy a pack. If you do, we keep it for 30 days so we can finish your pack and handle redos and style switches, then delete it automatically.
• Previews you didn't buy (the preview image and anything else made from your photo) are deleted after 7 days.
• Packs you bought are kept so you can download them again and restore them to a new phone. Email support@mojilolo.comwith your pack link and we'll delete the pack within 48 hours.
• A preview email address (if you asked us to email your preview) is deleted as soon as you buy, after 8 days otherwise, or immediately if you use the unsubscribe link.
• Order records(your email, what you bought, when) are kept for accounting and so “Email me my packs” works. Stripe keeps its own payment records under its own policy.

Who processes your data

We use these services to run Mojilolo. Each receives only what it needs:

• fal.ai and OpenAI: generate your emojis. Your photo, or an emoji made from it, is sent to them for each image. When you upload, OpenAI also reads a small copy of your photo to note glasses, facial hair, hair colour and approximate age, so your emojis keep them.
• Cloudflare R2: stores your photo and emojis for the periods above.
• Vercel: hosts the website and collects anonymous traffic statistics (page views and referrers, no cross-site tracking).
• Stripe: takes payment.
• Resend: sends our emails.

We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your photos to train AI models.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the UK and EU, or the CCPA in California) you may have further rights, including to object to processing and to complain to your data-protection authority. Email support@mojilolo.comand we'll respond within 30 days.

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have agreed to it.
